Charcoal City Games is an independent game studio in Baltimore, MD

Charcoal City Games was founded by a group of veteran game developers with a passion for making games that are fun to play and fascinating to watch.

We're hard at work making games that resonate with lovers of old school games, but are easy to jump in and play. In 2017 we began work on our first official project: Waveform Wipeout. Visit our games section to learn more about this fast paced rhythm game.

My name is Drew Nicolo and I am a technical artist, programmer, and jack of all trades. Ever since I was 3 years old and first held an NES controller I have been enamored with video games. I have an (arguably) unhealthy obsession with the classic Mega Man games and I strive to create experiences as tight and memorable as the ones I grew up playing. I have been making games for fun and professionally for over a decade.

I'm Sam Robinson and I am a game designer and artist. I have been making games both personally and professionally for the last 7 years. In that time I have worked as a game designer, UX/UI designer, a production artist, and a concept artist. I love making games with a strong narrative and an interesting aesthetic and am really excited about the opportunity to do just that.
